It was fate. (Or maybe coincidence. and Westview, in Houston, Texas, about a quarter of a mile from my home.I seriously cannot fucking get it out of my head and I sing it to everyone at inappropriate moments. Last week, at the height my cholo fixation, I rented a car and lo and behold this cd was just waiting for me in the glove compartment. Was first a tire store, then a mechanic shop and now a used-car-rental store.

But I want to think more about what it means to have an Intention Economy and not just a Marketing Economy. I'm a very frequent renter with Budget, and this is the first time I've encountered somebody behind the counter who seemed to go out of their way to provide minimal service, or worse. After taking two redeyes from the West Coast, and having had very little sleep, I was not pleased.
