The colorful street trade is THE main attraction of the village. If that element gets removed, Nimbin indeed will lose its main income, tourists spending considerable dollars while in Nimbin. Legal foods, drinks, accomodation, bakery, general store buys, hotel, entertainment, the list is long enough to claim that almost every business needs the tourist dollar to stay open.
